YAKIMA, Wash.-The last Downtown Summer Nights of the season is Thursday, Aug. 29.
The free event featuring live music, food and community starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion.
Live music is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. with the Aphrodisi-Yaks, followed by Red Light Challenge and the event will also feature food vendors, local businesses and a beer garden.
The Yakima School Foundation Board will be volunteering in the beer garden to raise money for grants and donations of school supplies will also be taken to support Yakima students, according to a Downtown Association of Yakima press release.
