YAKIMA, Wash.-The Grand Kyiv ballet is set to perform at the Capitol Theater in Yakima on Friday, Sept. 13.
The ballet, featuring Grand Kyiv Principal dancers Anastasia Gurska and Viktor Tomashek will perform Don Quixote.
Yakima Mayor Patricia Byers will give opening remarks before the ballet at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online.
The Grand Kyiv Ballet, made up of 35 dancers from across Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa, will stop in Yakima as part of its world tour to raise awareness about the situation in Ukraine, according to a press release on the performance.
