YAKIMA, Wash. – A Yakima grandmother took home $180,000 after winning the top prize of $10,000 on 18 separate Match 4 tickets in one day.
A Nov. 18 press release from Washington’s Lottery says the woman purchased all 18 tickets from Wray’s Marketfresh Meadowbrook and used her go-to set of numbers, her birthday and the say she got “a second chance at life,” for her tickets.
After getting her grandchildren from school, she checked the tickets on her phone and found that her number combination was the exact set of winning numbers for that night’s drawing.
The woman plans to share the winnings with her family, which includes relatives in the Philippines.
