YAKIMA, Wash.-The Yakima Valley has been nominated for Best Wine Region in USA Today’s Readers Choice Awards.
The awards, which can be voted for online, recognize outstanding wine regions across the country highlighting destinations, products, and experiences, according to a Yakima Valley Tourism press release.
“There are twenty regions across the country in the running and, based on public votes, only the top ten will be recognized,” said John Cooper, President & CEO of Yakima Valley Tourism. “Our goal is to get the Yakima Valley voted in as the number one best wine region.”
Voting for the Best Wine Region is open to the public and can be done daily at www.visityakima.com/vote until Monday, July 22, at 9 a.m. pacific time.
