YAKIMA, Wash. – Police are asking for assistance in the search for 17-year-old Diego Ramirez, who is accused of second-degree murder for the alleged shooting and killing of his cousin Jordan Brock.

A probable cause document says on May 24, a call came in at 6:14 p.m. reporting that Brock had been shot in a home on the 900 block of Pleasant Avenue.

Witnesses of the shooting said Brock and Ramirez had an argument, resulting in Ramirez aiming a handgun at Brock. Moments later, the two had a follow-up argument, resulting in Ramirez allegedly shooting Brock twice.

Officials found Brock unconscious at the home and brought him to a hospital. A search of the home found that Ramirez and his younger brother had ran away.

Court documents say that Brock died the next day from his injuries. An autopsy from the King County Medical Examiners Office ruled his death as a suicide.

YPD says Ramirez has had a second-degree murder warrant for his arrest since May 31, however his location is unknown.

Anyone with information is urged to contact YPD at 609-575-6200 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
