YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. – Yakima County residents were invited by the Yakima Health District (YHD) and Washington State Department of Health (WA DOH) to submit images highlighting well-being.
Participants in the 2024 Community Photo Project, titled ‘Celebrating Community Strengths,’ can submit their images online until Dec. 31 at midnight.
Entries can include social service centers, daycare centers, nature, community art, parks, community centers, transportation and more.
The project comes as part of WA DOH’s State Health Assessment that aims to identify and build on community strengths, resources and factors that support health.
Those who get their images selected will get a $50 Visa gift card.
