YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-Yakima County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Rev. Dr. Richard Olsen has died.
Affectionately known as “Padre,” Rev. Olsen served as YCSO’s Chaplain for the past eight years and was know for his dedication to the community, according to a YCSO social media post.
Rev. Olsen was always willing to help a grieving family or his co-workers, according to the YCSO, and always placed service above himself.
