YAKIMA, Wash.-The NAACP of Yakima County is holding an 80th Anniversary celebration from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Henry Beauchamp Community Center on Friday, Sept. 20.
Registration for the event that includes a social hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. followed by an anniversary program from 6:30-8:30 p.m. is now open and available online, according to an NAACP post.
The Yakima County NAACP works to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of all residents.
The Henry Beauchamp Community Center is located at 1211 S. 7th Street in Yakima.
