YAKIMA, Wash.- Yakima Airport is hosting its first Aviation Day on Saturday, June 1st.
The event invites the public to interact with planes by allowing attendees to climb inside the aircraft on display. Additionally, there will be arts and crafts, food, and informational booths to increase public knowledge about Aviation.
According to the Yakima Airport Director, the event strives to generate exposure to careers in Aviation.
The event is free until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
