Yakama Nation, White Swan community helping those impacted by Slide Ranch Fire

WHTIE SWAN, Wash.-The Yakama Nation and White Swan community are helping those affected by the Slide Ranch Fire.

The Slide Ranch Fire started on June 22 and has now burned 3,700 acres, including 16 homes.

Hotel accommodations and fuel cards are available for families who have lost their homes, according to the Yakama Nation.

A clothing drive to help families is also underway at the White Swan Community Center at 70 Rodeo Drive.

A Red Cross Emergency Shelter for evacuees is open at Harrah School at 7640 Branch Road in Harrah.
