RICHLAND, Wash. – A Washington State University Tri-Cities researcher in the Viticulture and Enology program is seeking volunteers to participate in a sensory panel involving red wine, according to a news release.
In the panel, volunteers will be trained in identifying aromas and tastes in wines and will be asked to score wines.
The panel is planned to take seven weeks starting at the end of February. Three group sessions and five individual sessions will be scheduled.
Each group session will take 60 to 90 minutes while individual sessions will take 40 minutes. Snacks are also provided after each session.
All sessions will be held at the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center in Richland. Volunteers can decide when their sessions will be.
