HAWTHORNE, Cal.-World Series MVP Freddie Freeman has been immortalized on a mural in Hawthorne.
The mural commemorates Freeman’s historic game-winning walk-off grand slam in Game 1 of the World Series against the Yankees.
The mural is at the corner of 133rd Street and Inglewood Avenue and was painted by well-known Los Angeles based muralist Gustavo Zermeño Jr.
