PASCO, Wash.-A woman suffering from dementia found wandering on Road 68 is safe thanks to the actions of a good Samaritan and Pasco police.
The woman was reportedly walking northbound in the middle of Road 68 on the afternoon of Sept. 17 when someone spotted her, called police and slowed traffic to keep the woman safe, according to a Pasco PD post.
Pasco PD and Fire responded to the scene and convinced the woman to get out of the road and into the safety of an ambulance until her family could get to the area.
The incident had a happy and safe ending for everyone involved and Pasco PD thanked everyone involved from the good Samaritan to medics and officers who responded.
