WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – A woman was booked into jail on five counts of second degree assault after pointing a gun at five people, including two children, in West Richland, according to the West Richland Police Department.
WRPD officers, Benton County Sheriff’s deputies and Richland Police officers were sent to the Yakima River Bridge to deal with a weapons complaint where a woman had reportedly pointed a gun a multiple people and a dog.
Officers and deputies found the woman who had tried to walk away and took her into custody without incident.
