MONTANA – Winter weather continues to impact Montana as more snow and freezing rain are expected. Winter Weather Advisories and Warnings are still in effect, with the Cut Bank area under a Warning.
Major cities like Billings, Bozeman, and Helena might see up to 3 inches of snow. Mountain passes such as Lolo, Lost Trail, and Marias Passes could receive between 3 to 6 inches of accumulation.
Gusty winds in the southwest have calmed down this evening. As the week progresses, temperatures are expected to cool down to seasonal averages. Highs in the 40s will drop to the 30s and 20s leading up to Thanksgiving on Thursday.
Tonight, most regions will experience lows in the 20s, except for Cut Bank, which is forecasted to reach 0 degrees. Surrounding areas like Great Falls and Havre will see temperatures in the single digits. Tomorrow, highs will range from the upper 30s in the west to the 20s in Billings and teens in north-central Montana.
The weather is expected to remain unsettled on Sunday, with scattered precipitation, but drier conditions are anticipated later in the week.
