RICHLAND, Wash.-Richland Fire and Emergency Services is hosting a Wildfire Preparedness Expo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the Badger Mountain Trailhead.
The expo is the perfect opportunity for residents to learn more about the Richland Community Wildfire Protection Plan and to learn how to protect their property from wildfires, according to a Richland Fire social media post.
May 4 is also National Firefighters’ Day and families are encouraged to come to Badger Mountain Trailhead Park to visit with Richland Fire staff and participate in kid friendly activities.
