FINLEY, Wash. – Fire crews from Benton County Fire District 1 and the Pasco Fire Department put out a two-acre wildfire in Finley on Monday.
BCFD1 says crews were called to the area of South Meals Road and East Toothaker Road at 6:19 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found that the fire had burned more than an acre. It was stopped at around two acres.
Crews from BCFD1 stayed in the area mopping up for at least an hour.
