PASCO, Wash. – A wildfire burned 25 to 30 acres at Sacajawea Park in Pasco, according to the Pasco Fire Department.

Deputy Fire Chief Chris Mortensen says no one was injured and no buildings were threatened. The cause is still under investigation and the fire is now contained, though crews may be in the area for several days.

Campers at the park were told to evacuate, though no other major evacuations were put in place.

Mortensen says the department received mutual aid from Franklin County Fire District 3. Tank Farm Road was closed by crews initially, however it has since been reopened.
