Fire crews with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources are responding to a fire in the Yakima River Canyon.
The fire is reportedly on state lands along SR 821 near milepost 5, according to the Naches Fire Department.
The initial size of the fire was about 10 acres, according to the Selah Fire Department and smoke may be visible in the nearby areas.
