WHITE PASS.-The westbound lanes of US 12 through White Pass are currently closed, according to the Department of Transportation.
The closure that extends from milepost 168 (Lower Tieton Road) east of the summit to milepost 151 at the summit is due to high avalanche danger and blizzard conditions.
US 12 is open west of the summit, according to WSDOT, however, chains are required on all cars, except all wheel drive. Oversize vehicles are prohibited.
