WEST RICHLAND, Wash.- The West Richland Police Department announced on Facebook that K9 Polar has been entered into a nationwide contest.
The contest is for the 2023 First Responder Paws Therapy Dog Award.
This contest advocates for the use of therapy dogs with first responders.
The contest is run by FHE health. A photo and essay were submitted on Polar’s behalf.
