YAKIMA, Wash.-Part of South 6th Street will be closed for water line work in Yakima on Dec. 9 and 10.
The closure between Rainier Street and La Salle Street will last from 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. both days of the project, according to the City of Yakima.
Detours will be posted in the area and flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the work zone.
According to the City, access to homes and businesses will be maintained, however, drivers in the area should expect delays due to the heavy amount of traffic on 6th Street.
