TOPPENISH, Wash.-All are welcome at a warming station and shelter on the Yakama Reservation as the weather continues to get colder.
The warming station, located at 508 W. 1st Ave. in Toppenish, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The overnight shelter is located at 50 Wishpoosh Rd. and is open from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m. for individuals 18 and over facing chronic homelessness.
According to a social media post from Toppenish Police, the overnight shelter offers a safe place to stay warm and sleep, coffee, water and juice, referrals to community resources and winter attire and shoes based on donations.
