WALLA WALLA, Wash.-Two local restaurants in Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities will be featured on America’s Best Restaurants this month.

The Bonfire in Walla Walla will be visited by the ABR roadshow on Sept. 17 and Stick+Stone in Richland will be featured on Sept. 18.

Bonfire owners Kelly Siner and Jencie Sedore-Siner will be interviewed about their restaurant’s place in the Walla Walla community and special dishes will be highlighted, according to ABR.

“It’s just good classic Americana with a refined twist,” Siner says of the Bonfire, which started as a food trailer he built himself and then moved up to a food truck that was voted Best Food Truck in Walla Walla in 2023 before opening in its brick and mortar location this year.

Popular dishes at The Bonfire located at 4301 W Main St, Walla Walla include the Philly Cheesesteak, Bonfire Mac n Cheese and the T-Mak Burger, according to a press release on the show.

“I’m proud of every aspect of this place,” Siner said. “We built it together, literally, from the ground up. My crew is solid. My food is amazing.”

America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focused on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants will be filming in Walla Walla from 2-5 p.m. on Sept. 17, according to ABR.

ABR will visit Stick+Stone, an authentic Neapolitan pizza and craft beer restaurant at 3027 Duportail in Richland on Sept. 18.

Owner Talon Yager will be interviewed and popular dishes, including the Patata Pizza and the Colonel Mustard will be featured.

Yager has worked at the restaurant since it opened in 2016 and purchased the restaurant in 2020 after growing up in the food industry with his parents and grandparents operating burger restaurants in Othello and Connell.

ABR will be filming at Stick+Stone from 9 a.m. to noon on Sept 18.

The ABR Roadshow features restaurants based on customer reviews, menu items, social media presence and community involvement.

Both The Bonfire and Stick+Stone features will air on social media channels at a later date, according to ABR.
