WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Walla Walla Presbyterian church had a weekend long celebration leading up to its 150th anniversary celebration on October 1st.
All weekend long those belonging to the church celebrated with worships lead by different guest speakers, food and of course workshops for adults.
After worship on October 1st, members of the fellowship put together a lunch for the community to enjoy. Some members were even in costume to remind the community of the church’s long history in the area.
“To be functioning after 150 years is amazing in and of itself it is a real bright spot in the history of Walla Walla” said Louis Hahn, Walla Walla Presbyterian church fellowship member.
The Walla Walla Presbyterian church is located at 325 S. First Avenue in Walla Walla, Washington.
