Walla Walla Police investigating shooting of Tri-Cities area man

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-Walla Walla police are investigating a shooting after a man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound on the night of May 29.

Officers responded to the hospital around 5:51 p.m. when a 29-year-old Tri-Cities man with a gunshot wound and a 30-year-old woman, also from the Tri-Cities, came to the hospital, according to the WWPD.

The WWPD and the Walla Walla Regional Drug and Gang Task Force investigated and interviewed the victim, determining that the shooting may have happened in Pioneer Park.

According to Walla Walla PD, the exact location of the shooting could not be confirmed and bystanders in the park did not report hearing any gunshots.
