Walla Walla, WA.- Greg Lupfer, Walla Walla High School Head Football Coach, has stepped down from his position according to a press release from Walla Walla School District.
Coach Lupfer spent five seasons dedicated to his student-athletes, but has decided to step away and allow someone else to lead the program according to Athletic Director Chris Ferenz.
“On behalf of the Athletic Department and school, I would like to thank Greg for his commitment to his players and service to Blue Devil athletics” shared Ferenz.
Lupfer will continue to work with students of Walla Walla Public Schools in the Career and Technical Education Department as well as aiding in the Driver’s Education program.
The head football coaching position will be posted soon for those interested in applying. According to Walla Walla School District, a new coach will be named later this school year.
