WALLA WALLA, Wash. The city of Walla Walla is seeking applicants to apply for several vacancies on City Committees.
Anyone interested in applying can download the forms online. Applications are due by noon on Dec. 6, although the City will accept them until all positions are filled. Terms are set to begin Jan. 1.
Upcoming vacancies:
- Arts Commission: Three positions are available; must be a resident of Walla Walla to qualify.
- Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee: Three open positions. One may reside in the city’s Urban Growth Area (UGA) but otherwise must be a city resident.
- Lodging Tax Advisory Committee: Two positions, one representing an organization responsible for collecting tax and one representing an organization eligible to be funded by tax.
- Parks, Recreation and Urban Forestry Advisory Board: Three positions open; must be a resident of Walla Walla.
- Planning Commission: Two positions open; one may live in the city’s Urban Growth Area (UGA), but otherwise must be a city resident.
- Public Library Board of Trustees: One position is open.
- Salary Commission: Three positions available; must be a resident of Walla Walla.
