KENNEWICK, Wash.-Visit Tri-Cities held its annual meeting and tourism showcase at the Three Rivers Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 7.
2024 marked the 55th time the meeting that aims to bring people together to promote tourism opportunities in the region, and the effect it has on the local economy and community was held.
The meeting featured a “Discover What’s in You” panel discussion that included Latin music artist Jose Iniguez, founder of Encanto Arts, who discussed his start working in agriculture and how the local community embraced him.
Local first responders were also presented with the Kris Watkins Tourism Champions Award at the meeting for their role in helping make the Tri-Cities Ironman race a success in September.
