Veterans Day, Wreaths Across America ceremonies set for Pasco’s City View Cemetery

PASCO, Wash.-The City of Pasco is hosting two events at City View Cemetery to honor Veterans this Nov. and Dec.

A Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held on Monday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. to honor men and women who served in the military.

The free Veteran’s Day event is open to the community and will include music, the changing of the flags and a wreath placement, according to the City of Pasco.

On Dec. 14 Wreaths Across America will take place in City View Cemetery at 11 a.m.

Wreaths Across America is an annual ceremony to remember fallen members of the military while honoring those who serve and teaching the value of freedom, according to the City of Pasco.

Wreaths will be laid on graves and each veteran’s name will be read aloud.

Volunteers for Wreaths Across America are still needed. Those interested in volunteering or sponsoring a wreath can do so through the City View Cemetery page on the Wreaths Across America website.
