TRI-CITIES, Wash. – The suspect in the Uptown Shopping Center shooting from Sat., Nov. 16, has pled guilty, according to a Benton County Prosecutor’s Office press release.
Isiah Nathanial Rodriguez pled guilty to second-degree murder with an enhancement for the use of a firearm for the murder of Michael Perkins in the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland.
According to the press release, the sentencing range with the enhancement is 194-294 months in prison.
The State will recommend 264 months (22 years) in prison and 36 months of community custody, according to the statement.
A sentencing hearing will be conducted later. The date has not been decided.
