UPDATE: Missing Indigenous person from Wapato found

WAPATO, Wash. – UPDATE. Jan. 4: Denise Frank has been found safe.

According to the FBI, Frank, who was last seen on Dec. 28 has now been found.

According to the Steve Bernd from the FBI, the FBI is working on this missing indigenous person case.

Bernd asks for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact law enforcement and the FBI on its tips website or by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI.

The Washington State Patrol is searching for a missing indigenous person from Wapato, according to an alert from WSP.

32-year-old Denise Frank was reportedly last seen on Dec. 28, 2023 in Wapato wearing a black hoodie with a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme.

Frank is 5’2″ and weighs 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

WSP urges anyone who has seen Frank to call 911.
