PENDLETON, Ore.-UPDATE. I-84 is now reopened after being closed for several hours on the morning of Feb. 9 after a car hit a light pole, according to TripCheck.

The westbound lanes of I-84 are closed between Pendleton and La Grande after a car crashed into a light pole and weather conditions.
The road is closed near milepost 222, about seven miles east of Pendleton after a car crashed into a light pole.
According to TripCheck, the pole is now leaning on an overhead line over the freeway. Utility crews are reportedly working to remove the pole and ODOT crews are plowing the road.
There is no estimated timetable for when the road will be reopened.
The eastbound lanes were also closed on the morning of Feb. 9, due to multiple spinouts, according to TripCheck.
