YAKIMA, Wash. -UPDATE. OCT. 2.-The Dolly Day 5K originally set to be run on Oct. 12 at the Yakima Greenway is being rescheduled.
According to the United Way of Central Washington, the race will be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
A new date for the race has yet to be announced, however, the United Way will provide updates as they become available.

The United Way of Central Washington is holding its first ever Dolly Day 5k, a family-friendly 5k fun run where participants can dress up as country singer Dolly Parton.
The run raises funds for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that donates books to young children.
The run takes place on Oct. 12 at the Yakima Greenway. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. while the run starts at 10 a.m.
Participants can sign up online.
