PASCO, Wash.-September is Hunger Action Month and Tyson Foods is donating 40,000 pounds of food to Second Harvest to help ensure equitable access to food for the members of all communities.
Tyson will make the donation on Wednesday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Pasco at 5825 Burlington Lp.
The donation is part of Tyson’s commitment to donating 2.5 million pounds of protein during the month of September to alleviate hunger according to a press release on the donation.
