Two suspects still on the run after Memorial Day hit-and-run in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash.-The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects still on the run after a hit-and-run at US 395 and Clearwater in the early morning hours of Memorial Day.

The driver of a white Honda Accord going eastbound on Clearwater failed to stop at a red light at the intersection with US 395 and hit a semi-truck around 3:50 a.m.

Two people in the Honda were injured and transported to the hospital, including one with critical injuries, according to the WSP.

A man and woman got out of the car and ran from the scene and have not been found.

The man has been identified as Tyler William Harris and the WSP is looking for witnesses of the crash or for anyone with information on the case to contact WSP Detective Ryan Sauve at 509-572-5161.
