YAKIMA, Wash.-Two traffic projects will reduce traffic to one lane in Yakima from Nov. 13 through Nov. 15.
Water line work will restrict traffic on N. 16th Avenue between Cherry Avenue and Jerome Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, according to the City of Yakima.
While access to homes and businesses will be maintained drivers should expect delays due to the heavy amount of traffic on 16th Avenue.
In a separate project, W. Powerhouse Road will be one lane between S. Naches Road and Ackley Road between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for phase 2 of the Nelson Pipeline Project.
According to the City of Yakima, flaggers will be on site to direct traffic, however, delays are expected and drivers should find alternate routes if possible.
