TRI-CITIES, Wash.-McDonald’s fans in the Inland Northwest will be able to enjoy two new sauces never tasted in the region before starting on October 9.
Sweet and Spicy Jam Sauce and Mambo Sauce will be available for a limited time at participating locations across the Inland Northwest according to McDonald’s.
“We get inspiration for the food our fans love by exploring the incredible tastes and flavors found in communities across the country,” said Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald’s USA.
McDonald’s says its Sweet and Spicy Jam Sauce is a red pepper sauce with a tongue- numbing Szechuan peppercorn kick and extra heat from cayenne pepper; that finishes with a hint of apple cider vinegar.
Mambo Sauce is a tomato-based, sweet, spicy and vinegary sauce; inspired by the regional Washington, D.C. area sauce staple according to the burger chain.
