RICHLAND, Wash.-The Tri-Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s is set for Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m.
Registration for the walk to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research begins at 10:00 a.m. at John Dam Plaza in Richland. Registration can be done online or in-person at the event.
NonStop Local’s own Cristian Garza will serve as emcee of the walk.
According to the Washington Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, participants in the walk will have the opportunity to carry flowers of various colors representing their personal connection to Alzheimer’s.
