TRI-CITIES, Wash.- Tri-Cities Pride is looking for volunteers to help with its upcoming June event, which celebrates Pride Month.
According to A’isha Martin, the President of Tri-Cities Pride, the event will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Peanuts Park in Pasco. Martin explains that the goal of Pride organization is to showcase acceptance, equality, and love. Additionally, she hopes to continue to grow their annual event within the community. Last year, the organization could not host the event, so it focused on obtaining its 501C3 certification.
This year, Tri-Cities Pride will revive its event in a way that is reminiscent of past celebrations. The organization anticipates needing 20 -30 people to support day-of-event activities. It invites anyone interested to visit its website and join the effort.
