PASCO, Wash. – Nonprofit organization Tri-City Area Gaming (TAG) announced the return of its gaming convention, TAGCON, on Monday in a press release.

The convention, set for April 19 to 21 at the HAPO Center in Pasco, will feature an extensive board game library of over 400 games, vendors, sessions on game design and community empowerment and more.

TAGCON also features an official CATAN national qualifier, an auction, a VR room and sessions of Jackbox games.

TAG invites the entire community to the convention, aiming to create a space for all to enjoy. The TAGCON library also features several language-agnostic games for attendees that speak languages other than English to participate.

“Accessibility is more than just making accommodations,” says TAG Secretary Sara Quinn. “When people feel safe, they can really have fun. Everyone at TAGCON agrees to our Code of Conduct. We create an environment that fosters kindness, respect, and community.”

Children are also welcome to attend. Games for parents with small children are also in the TAGCON game library.

Tickets, including half-price badges for $20, are available online. Free badges are given to anyone who volunteers for 12 hours or more.
