
RICHLAND, Wash. – The Tri-Cities Food Co-Op is celebrating a significant milestone with the opening of its new community space.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thu., March 14 at noon in collaboration with the Richland Chamber of Commerce. The festivities continue as the Co-Op’s coffee shop opens on Fri., March 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On the same day, the Co-Op will host its monthly market with a Green Market theme, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring locally sourced and sustainable products.
Alan Schreiber, the Tri-Cities Food Co-Op Board Chair, expressed his excitement by saying, “The Tri-Cities Food Co-Op is more than just a market—it’s a hub for connection, sustainability, and local economic growth.”
The Co-Op has expanded its hours to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., providing more flexibility for shopping, enjoying coffee and connecting with local growers. They now offer beer, wine, dairy, eggs, meat and seafood.
