TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Local Soroptimist Clubs are hosting a “Dream It. Be It.” event for high school girls on Saturday, March 2. from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Hawk Union Building at CBC.
Hosted by Soroptimist International of Three Rivers and Soroptimist International of Pasco and Kennewick, 2024 marks the fifth year of the free career exploration seminar.
According to event organizers, Dream It. Be It. is an opportunity for girls in grades 9-12 to explore their dream careers and what it will take to achieve them, including the necessary training, education and finances.
Women from a variety of professions will meet and talk with girls throughout the day before panelist presentations to end the event.
Dream It. Be It. is free for high school girls, however, the last day to register is Feb. 15. Lunch, snacks, program materials and gifts will be provided for attendees.
