RICHLAND, Wash. — As the holiday season approaches, many grapple with the absence of loved ones who are no longer present to celebrate the festivities. Recognizing the significance of honoring those who have passed away, an upcoming event aims to provide solace and a space for remembrance.
The Tree of Remembrance, organized by Sunset Gardens in Richland, sought to offer a heartfelt tribute to lost family members and friends. The event, took place in the Sunset Garden event center. It included a small service and a moment for participants to add their loved one’s name to an ornament for the tree.
Sunset Gardens also collected toy donations for Toys for Tots.
