Travel at Tri-Cities Airport affected by global IT outage

PASCO, Wash.-A global IT outage is affecting banks, businesses, media and airlines across the country, including the Tri-Cities.

The FAA grounded planes across the country on Friday, July 19 and airports and airlines have now canceled or delayed flights.

The Tri-Cities Airport posted a statement on the outage, which read:

“TRAVEL ALERT: a major technology outage has affected air travel today (Friday, July 19). Please check with your airline directly for information about your flight status.”
