RICHLAND, Wash.–Free curbside pickup for bagged trash and leaves in Richland will end December 20.
Extra bagged garbage can be placed next to the gray trashcan on the next scheduled trash pickup day, according to a City of Richland Government Facebook post. Extra bagged organics can be placed near the green can.
The City of Richland asks people to use a certified compostable bag for yard waste, according to the post.
Items not accepted include bags over 40 pounds, hazardous waste, construction or demolition debris, tumbleweeds, rocks and dirt, according to the post. Accepted material needs to be placed in the correct bin.
