This is the moment a plane crashed and caught fire during take-off killing 18 people.
The Saurya Airlines test flight was carrying employees when it took off from the airport in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, earlier today.
It is reported the pilot, who is currently receiving treatment, is the only survivor after being rescued from the wreckage.
The plane lifted off from the runway at Tribhuvan International Airport, but slipped off and crashed into a nearby ditch, according to reports.
The video shows the plane plummeting into the ground and then thick smoke rising from the plane wreckage.
The flight was headed for Pokhara and crashed at about 11.15 am local time a few minutes after take off.
