Traffic signals to be upgraded at several Yakima intersections this summer

YAKIMA, Wash.-Several traffic light outages are planned throughout Yakima during the summer months to upgrade the signals.

The traffic signal outages are expected to last from 6:30 a.m. to noon and stop signs will be posted when the traffic lights are turned off, according to the City of Yakima.

The first outage is planned for Wednesday, June 5 at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

Expected outage schedule and locations for traffic light upgrades:
