The City of Kennewick expects to generate nearly 200,000 attendees annually as a result of the expansion. Earnings are estimated to be $130.8 million in total spending, $28.4 million in increased earnings and $6.9 million in sales tax and hotel/motel tax revenues.

The expanded space is expected to open in summer 2026, according to the convention center.
