Thousands without power in Walla Walla area

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-Thousands of Pacific Power customers are currently without power in Walla Walla due to loss of transmission.

A total of 7,358 customers are without power due to five outages over two locations, according to Pacific Power’s Outage Map.

According to the City of Walla Walla, the power outage is due to the loss of transmission and the estimated time of the power being restored is 6:15 p.m.

Residents are asked to use caution at intersections as some traffic lights are currently out and should be treated as four-way stops.

The outages were first reported around 9:10 a.m. and utility crews have been notified and are responding, according to the utility.
